Jumped only fairly, held up behind midfield 3-wide, picked up nicely inside 300M, took over near 50M and kept kicking for a well-deserved maiden victory on his 28th start.

From wide draw shifted across behind runners, waited with at the rear and over 7Ls to make up passing 400M, chased on solidly down outside to go 2nd close home. Nearest finish.

Reserved near last, had task ahead at 400M with 7Ls to make up, closed off well to take 3rd.
4COMET SPLENDIDO  E C W Wong  (TT)

Away well enough from draw 1, travelled well behind leaders, took lead near 200M but couldn't hold off first 3 closing stages.
5PRECISE EXPRESS  K C Leung  (H)

Unable to slot in, raced wide no cover in midfield for the majority of race, moved closer home turn and stayed in contention until final 150M.

6GOLDEN DARCI  H Bowman  (P/XB)

Soon prominent and sat in behind leader, battled on mildly early straight, not pace to challenge leaders final 200M.

Not hurried on jumping from draw 12, towards the rear 5-6Ls back, chased steadily over final 300M without threatening.

Jumped only fairly, settled midfield 4Ls back in 6th position, couldn't muster any sort of challenge in the straight.

Soon led and set steady pace to straight, caught nearing 200M, no extra close home.

From wide draw shifted across to race towards the rear on inside, couldn't pick up early straight, held up 200M-100M then eased when no chance. (Jockey : didn't travel well throughout and dipped on a number of occasions.)

Chased leaders, 4th on settling, under pressure to maintain his position 600M, soon beaten top of straight. (Lame RF leg.)
