Moderately away, positioned 5 lengths behind the leader on rail, moved a bit closer along the rail on turn, angled out early in straight, finished off very strongly to score.

Began awkwardly and made contact, positioned 3Ls behind the leader on rail, angled out and improved after passing 800M, shared the lead from 600M, 3 wide on turn, kept on well in straight but unable to hold off the winner close home.

Bumped start, raced at tail, 8 to 9 lengths back, saved ground throughout, still 7 lengths or so back turning in, finished off well to take a place. (Dead-Heat 3rd.)
