Always prominent, got its head up when steadied early stages, pressed leader home turn, led early straight, kept on gamely to line and narrowly prevailed under urging.

Settled down in midfield, travelled well into straight, gave good response and did best work towards the line, just missed by a diminishing short head.

Restrained after the jump to race at the back, swung wide for home, closed well to be nearest at the line. Clear from rest.
4PLEASANT ENDEAVOR  J McDonald  (B)

Unable to slot in form draw 10, raced wide no cover behind leaders, kept on steadily turning for home, not pace to challenge leaders.
5XPONENTIAL  Z Purton  (B/TT)

Vied for early lead before emerging as leader 700M, headed top of straight, faded towards the line.
6MR VALIANT  C Y Ho  (XB)

Began awkwardly, shifted across behind runners to obtain cover, 4Ls off the pace in 10th at the 400M pole, stayed on moderately towards the line.

Raced ahead of mid-division, pushed along 500M but responded fairly, soon outpaced by pursuing rivals.

Not hurried after the start, held up towards the rear, still last at 200M, ran past beaten horses only.

Steadied on jumping from draw 12, raced very wide and no cover after 900M, struck heels of rival at 250M and stumbled, failed to finish off thereafter. (Wound to RF leg.)

Settled down midfield, unbalanced after 500M when awkwardly placed close to a rival, gave limited response on straightening, never threatened.

Ridden forward as customary, relinquished lead 700M but remained prominent, weakened rapidly final 300M. (Jockey: failed to close off the race as his horse raced too keenly in middle stages.)

From draw 1 took inside route throughout and never far off from leaders, gave no response turning for home, soon beaten. (Jockey unable to offer any reason for the horse's failure to finish off.)
