Comments

1CIRCUIT ELITE  Y L Chung  (B-/TT)

Obtained uncontested lead at start. Pretty much uncontested in front for all of middle stages, raced a couple of lengths clear on straightening, just had enough in the tank to win by narrow margin from fast closers.

2CHATER PINS  M Chadwick  (SR)

Raced in midfield along the rail throughout. Moved into clear running on cornering, closed strongly in the final stages to miss by a neck.

3PERFECT TO GREAT  C Y Ho  (SR/TT)

Taken back after start before racing worse than midfield between runners. Swung to be the second widest on cornering before finishing very strongly down the outside in final stages to be beaten half length, just missed 2nd.

4SMILING TIME  L Ferraris  (V/TT)

Raced in midfield away from the rail throughout. Moved into clear running on straightening before making continual ground all the way to line to be beaten under 1L into 4th.

5RED ELYSEES  M F Poon  (B/TT)

Raced on the leaders back for the majority. Raced tight with rival passing the 200m, continued to try very hard all the way to line & was beaten just over a length when over-run for minor placing late.

6DARCI JOY  S De Sousa  (B/TT)

Raced second away from the rail for the majority. Dropped a couple of lengths from lead on straightening, hung inwards & raced tight with rival mid-straight but continued to try hard all the way to line only beaten 1-1/4 lengths.

7WONDER YEARS  A Badel  (B/XB/TT)

Slow to begin & had no early speed & raced near the tail. Shifted very wide without cover down back straight, continued wide when improving to midfield around bend, battled on well to be beaten only 2L after wide passage.

8EZRA  R Maia  (B)

Raced in midfield along the rail throughout. Stayed close to the inside on cornering, peaked on effort mid-straight & gave a length or so late to be midfield, just under 3L behind in bunched finish.

9MANAGEMENT FOLKS  J McNeil  (B)

Shifted across behind runners after start & raced worse than midfield along rail before being relegated to second last just after half-way. Was beaten before straightening.

10PERFECT MARYKNOLL  C L Chau  (B/TT)

Steadied passing winning post first time but was trapped racing three wide without cover throughout. Began yielding ground from his midfield position before cornering & weakened out in straight to be well beaten.

11MURRAY'S PARTNERS  C Wong  (V)

Had no speed after start & was taken back to race at the tail. Continued at the rear approaching corner, was shifted wider on the track when still last on straightening but did nothing & was long second last.

12RED IMPACT  L Hewitson  (V/XB/TT)

Had a nice run 1.1 for the majority. Was ridden along prior to straightening before weakening out badly in last 250m to be long last.
