From draw 12 soon crossed to the lead, led at even tempo, kicked on well passing 300M and was always holding off the pursuing rivals.

Tracked leader on outside, raced keenly passing 1100M, kept on moderately under top weight passing 400M, not able to close the gap on winner.

Settled in 4th place, always in touch, driven out 400M, went 2nd mid-straight, not reach winner, run ended close home and edged out to 3rd late.

Dropped back to obtain cover at the rear, over 10Ls off the pace early stages, made his move 500M swinging wide for home, stayed on to go 4th 50M out, not reach top 3.
