Raced in midfield but was left racing three wide without cover before sliding forward to be wide & outside the leaders from the 700m. Moved to the lead at 350m before continuing on to win well.
2LET'S DO IT  Z Purton

Raced 1,1 but was keen when racing between runners in middle stages. Shifted wider on straightening, dashed well to move to second passing the 300m but couldn't get to winner in final stages. Clear of third.
3TURQUOISE ALPHA  R Maia  (CP/H/XB)

Steadied from widest gate & taken back to race rearward. Moved three wide passing 700m to improve position, was the widest runner on straightening when about 4L behind before making late ground down the outside to third.
4PALACE PAL  C L Chau

Steadied after the start & taken back to race at the tail. Shifted wider approaching the corner, was still last & 5L behind entering final section before making late ground in concluding stages to steal well beaten 4th late.
5HANG'S DECISION  K Teetan  (B)

Raced rearward after start before moving into three wide line with cover & improving to midfield passing 900m. Shifted 4 wide approaching 500m before finishing off only one paced to be 4L behind on line.
6KING TOURBILLON  A Hamelin  (B/TT)

Raced three wide with cover in midfield throughout. Straightened only about 1.5L from the lead before emptying near 250m mark & giving a few lengths late.

7BEAUTY SPIRIT  A Badel  (B/TT)

Had a soft run in midfield along the rail throughout. Moved off the rail on straightening when only about 2.5L from the lead, stayed closer to the inside before weakening a few lengths in the final furlong
8ETERNAL BLOOM  L Currie

Raced in midfield between runners throughout. Entered last section under 3L from the lead before finishing off pretty moderately in last furlong to be well beaten.
9FIERY FLYING  K C Leung  (H)

Steadied soon after the start & taken back to race worse than midfield away from the rail. Was second last, over 4L behind on straightening, passed a couple in late stages but was still beaten 6L on line.
10DECISIVE ACTION  C Y Ho  (CP/TT)

Raced in midfield along the rail throughout. Moved off the rail prior to cornering, entered last section 3L from the lead before failing to finish off & was well beaten.
11BEAUTY NOVA  L Hewitson  (B-)

Pushed forward, raced prominently before being crossed by leader at 1000m & racing second away from the rail. Weakened pretty poorly in final 250m & was well beaten.
12FOREVER GLORIOUS  H Bentley  (TT)

Didn't begin fast, raced worse than midfield along the rail. Relegated to second last near the 600m, stayed close to the inside on straightening when 4L behind before weakening to be beaten 8.5L.
13ON EXCEL STAR  M Chadwick  (B/XB)

Pushed forward before racing on leaders back from the 1000m. Just behind on straightening before weakening out poorly in the straight to be long second last.
14LEISURE AND GOLD  M F Poon  (H)

Pushed forward, led when racing wide before crossing to rail near 1000m. Was headed on straightening, weakened very poorly to be long last.
