Began well & held early lead before being headed & crossed & racing behind leader from the 650m. Straightened under a length form the lead, moved up to lead passing the 250m mark before drawing away to win very easily.

2PRETTY QUEEN PRAWN  C L Chau  (H/SR/TT)

Raced in midfield between runners throughout. Straightened about 3L from the lead before closing off well to move to second place inside the final 50m. No match for easy winner but ran well enough.

3EXCELLENT PEERS  A Badel  (H/TT)

Began only fairly before mustering pace & racing 4th on the rail. Entered last section just under 3L from lead when staying along rail, closed well to second near 100m mark before holding third behind big margin winner.

4KA YING SPIRIT  K Teetan  (B/TT)

Raced third away from the rail throughout. Lay inwards & was near heels passing the 300m mark when continuing in third place before weakening a few lengths in the final 100m to be beaten 4.5L.

5PACKING CHAMPION  M L Yeung  (H)

Showed early speed to improve to the lead approaching the 800m before crossing to rail near the 650m. Continued in lead before passed by winner passing the 250m mark before weakening in late stages.

6GORGEOUS VITALITY  C Y Ho

Bumped at start before being shifted across behind runners to race near the tail. Continued last when 7L behind entering final section, shifted very wide on straightening before making good late ground to midfield.

7HAPPY TIME  D Moor  (B-/TT)

Shifted behind runners after start before improving along the rail to race just worse than midfield along the rail. Entered last section about 5L behind & maintained that margin in the run to the line when finishing off ok.

8NORDIC COMBINED  R Maia  (B1/TT1)

Shifted back from outside gate to settle at the tail. Stayed along the inside entering last section when 6.5L from lead before finishing off only one paced in the straight to be midfield.

9NOIR RIDER  K C Leung  (B)

Ridden to take a trailing positon & consequently raced worse than midfield away from rail. Straightened just under 6L from the lead before emptying mid-straight & weakening in late stages. Declared a roarer post-race.

10OVERSUBSCRIBED  L Ferraris  (XB)

Crowded at start before shifting back behind runners to settle rearward. Shifted wider & bumped approaching the corner when about 6L from the lead before weakening further in the straight to be long third last.

11HANDSOME GUYS  L Hewitson  (B-)

Bumped at start before being caught racing three wide without cover in midfield throughout. Continued wide around bend before weakening out in straight to be long second last.

12CANTSTOPTHEFEELING  H Bentley  (B/TT)

Began well but was allowed to drift back to race four wide without cover near the rear. Bumped & taken very wide around bend when continuing a long way from the lead before weakening out to long last.
