Strode forward before assuming lead & eventually coming across to the rail when setting very slow early/mid sections. Raced clear in the straight & continued all the way to the line to win very easily.
2PRIDE OF DRAGON  R Maia

Was trapped racing three wide without cover in midfield throughout. Moved slightly closer to lead approaching corner, entered last section only 1L behind before finishing well to hold second behind easy winner.
3CHARGE ON  M F Poon  (B)

Raced in midfield away from the rail before moving into three wide line with cover from the 800m. Entered last section only 2.5L behind before finishing off steadily down the outside to move to third in final 125m.
4NORDIC WARRIOR  B Shinn  (B)

Began only fairly before making up some ground to race midfield between runners. Finished off fairly in the straight to hold non-threatening 4th.
5MILLENNIUM FALCON  Z Purton  (H)

Racing worse than midfield before becoming keen when awkwardly placed near the 1000m mark. Entered last section 4.5L from the lead, was held up at various stages mid-straight before closing off ok last 150m.

6LIFELINE VISION  C Y Ho

Raced just worse than midfield three wide with cover in early stages before being forced 4 wide from the 750m. Continued wide around final bend, straightened 3.5L from the lead before finishing off only fairly to midfield.
7JIANGXI STAMINA  K Teetan  (B/TT)

Crowded after start, drifting back to second last before making some ground along rail to worse than midfield. Shifted away from rail near 400m when 5L behind before passing a few rivals when running onto midfield.
8VUKAN  M Chadwick  (XB)

Shifted behind runners from wide gate & settled near the rear. Entered last section 5.5L behind when continuing rearward before passing a few tiring rivals when running onto midfield but making up no relative headway.
9DASSIT  V Borges

Pushed forward, raced third away from rail before moving closer to be at leaders flanks by the 650m. Hung outwards on cornering, entered last section under 1L from the lead before weakening in final furlong.
10ROBOT WARRIOR  H Bentley  (B)

Steadied from wide gate & drifted back to race at the tail. Continued last on cornering, shifted to be the widest runner when 7L behind before failing to make any real impact in straight & being well beaten.
11SUPER HORNET  L Hewitson  (TT)

Had soft run in midfield along the rail throughout. Ridden along on cornering when 3.5L from the lead before weakening out in the straight to be beaten 6L.
12WIN CHARM  A Badel  (TT)

Had a nice run on leaders back for the majority. Was just over 2L from the lead on straightening before emptying mid-straight & weakening quickly in last furlong.

13INDIGENOUS REALM  K C Leung  (TT)

Had nice run 1,1 for the majority. Was only about 2L form the lead on straightening before emptying mid-straight & weakening quickly in last furlong.

14DANDY YEARS  A Hamelin  (B/TT)

Began ok but was restrained & drifted back for first 400m before racing third last, 3 wide with cover. Had only two runners behind on cornering before weakening in straight to be last. Bled.
