Began well from the widest gate, gradually settled 3-wide with cover in midfield about 4L off the pace, switched wider turning in, ran on under pressure to assert authority close to home.

2DARCI JOY  K C Leung  (B)

Jumped fairly, gradually improved to just behind race leaders on the rail, one back in 3rd coming onto home bend, soon came to challenge after straightening holding every chance but able to peg back the winner throughout.

3LEADING FORTUNE  J Moreira  (B2)

Niggled at early, settled 2-wide in 6th just behind the leaders, dropped slightly further back coming onto home bend, was 7th some 3L back turning for home, finished off the race well inside final 150 metres.

Began quickly, took up running after the first 200 metres setting a regular pace, came under pressure to hold place after straightening only to be caught nearing the finish.

5BIG BROOK  L Ferraris  (B/TT)

Moderate start, improved steadily to midfield and further closer to 6th within 3L of pace onto home bend, sustained progress under pressure after straightening but never threatening.

8DECISIVE ACTION  A Badel  (CP/TT)

Broke well but soon taken back to last few, 3-wide rounding home end and slightly wider into straight, kept on well to the line.

Crowded at start, gradually improved to prominent position while travelling 3-wide without cover, slightly further back on home bend before going wider into straight, found nothing 200 metres out.
