Restrained behind midfield early, pulled forward steadily along the rail to 6th just over 3L back 950 metres out, angled out for a run on top of home bend, obtained clear passage 300 metres out and soon took charge to win readily.

Settled in 3L 6th one off the rail, became 8th in similar position rounding home bend, fought on well under pressure to snatch 2nd late.
3SALIOS  D Lane  (B-/XB)

Soon came to share the lead on the rail, gained half a length advantage passing the 1200 metres, worn down quickly by eventual winner inside the 250 metres and lost 2nd late.

4MOTHER EARTH  R Moore

Slow out settling in rear, wide rounding home bend and even wider into straight, ran on under pressure down the centre of the track to be nearest at finish.

5INDY CHAMP  C Soumillon

Inconvenienced at start settling behind midfield, switched 3-wide with cover rounding home bend, fought on steadily without threatening.

6VIN DE GARDE  K Teetan  (H)

Bumped at start, travelled keenly gaining steadily on the rail to reach 2L 5th some shortly afterward, snuck up to 3rd coming onto home bend and saved ground turning in, kept on until finding no extra inside final 150 metres.

7WAIKUKU  A Badel

Began well settling 3-wide without cover in prominent 4th, shifted backward to 5th some 3L off passing the 1000 metres, widest runner turning for home, fought on nicely down the centre of the track, never nearer.

8DANON KINGLY  Y Kawada  (H)

Settled well back on the rail, travelled keenly and moved up towards the rear in 9th around the 1000 metres, gained closer into straight holding some chance early on, unable to sustain effort closing stages.

9SKY DARCI  J Moreira  (TT)

Taken back from a wide gate trailing the field to straight, saved ground turning in, switched out off heels for a run 300 metres out, ran home at the one pace.

10EXCELLENT PROPOSAL  B Shinn  (E)

Began positively settling one-out-one-back in joint 3rd, became 4th some 2L back coming out of back straight, commenced move 3-wide 600 metres out, carried wider entering home straight, found nothing under pressure.

11LUCKY EXPRESS  A Hamelin  (E/TT)

Pressed forward from the widest gate, obtained prominent 2-wide position at about the 1300 metres, gradually weakened after straightening.
