Settled not far off in midfield in 7th, in similar position within 4L of the pace when becoming 4th onto home bend, quickened well to hit the front just over 200 metres out, just fended off late challenges.

Quickly taken back to rear from a wide gate, saved ground on the rail turning for home, tight on the rail 400 metres out, ran on under pressure to just fail to get up on line.
