Had nice run on leaders back throughout. Moved to the lead soon after straightening before dashing clear in the final stages to win by easy 2.5L. Trainer questioned regarding improved performance – see report.
2SUCCESS ALLSTARS  L Ferraris  (B)

Shifted behind runners at start & raced at the tail. Stayed close to the rail entering last section when just over 5L behind before making strong late ground to move to second inside the final 25m.
3WAH MAY LUCK  A Badel  (B/TT)

Had soft run in midfield on rail. Moved away from the rail approaching the 500m, moved to second near the 250m mark before continuing to finish off steadily before being caught for second in final 25m.

4DIAMOND STAR  V Borges  (E/TT)

Drifted back after the start & raced second last. Entered last section with only two runners behind and 5.5L from the lead before closing off steadily in final 250m to move to 4th near the 100m mark. Only 3L behind on line.
5THIS IS CHARISMA  Z Purton  (CP)

Steadied from gate 13 & raced just worse than midfield away from rail. Eased wider passing 600m, widest on straightening, entered last section about 5L behind before passing a number of rivals when making up some ground late.
6JOLLY FOREVER  A Hamelin  (XB/TT)

Drifted back after the start & raced third from last between runners. Was relegated to last place on straightening when 6L from the lead before making up some steadily late ground down the outside to midfield.
7CROWN AVENUE  K H Chan  (V-)

Raced a touch wide early before improving to race at the leaders quarters. Only a length form the lead on straightening before emptying out near the 250m mark & weakening thereafter.

8SUPER KIN  H Bentley  (TT)

Raced in midfield away from rail. Eased three wide passing the 600m mark, entered last section 4.5L from the lead before weakening a length or so to hold well held midfield position.
9PAKISTAN ZINDABAD  C Y Ho  (B/TT)

Obtained nice position in midfield away from the rail. Entered last section about 4L from the lead before emptying mid-straight & weakening a few lengths to be well beaten in midfield.

10WEALTHY EMPLOYEE  M Chadwick  (B)

Raced in midfield on the rail throughout. Stayed towards the inside on straightening when 4L from the lead before weakening in the straight to be beaten over 6L.

11JIMMU  J Moreira  (SR)

Awkwardly placed just after start before racing worse than midfield on the rail. Moved away from the rail approaching 600m, entered last section just under 5L behind before weakening poorly to be beaten over 8L.

Shifted behind runners from wide gate & raced near the tail before being left wide & without cover from the 1200m. Shifted to be the widest entering last section when 6L behind before weakening further. See report.

Strode forward from outside gate to lead. Headed by the winner soon after entering last section before weakening badly in late stages to be over 10L behind.
14WINNING GENGHIS  C Wong  (V)

Obtained good position 1,1 for the majority. Came under hard riding passing the 700m mark, hung outwards passing the 600m before weakening very poorly in the straight to long last.
