Raced third away from the rail throughout. Pushed three wide passing 500m, only about a length behind on straightening, dashed well to strike lead near 175m mark before drawing away late.

2SMART IDEA  A Badel  (H/TT)

Steadied at first bend & shifted in to settle in midfield between runners. Improved closer to lead approaching 400m when 2.5L behind, closed off well in run to the line to snare second in final few strides.
3FORTUNE CARRIER  Z Purton  (B)

Ridden forward to lead from widest gate, race 3L clear at the 800m, continued in lead before being joined & headed by winner near the 175m, battled on to hold third, 2L behind.
4AMAZEMENT  K Teetan  (B)

Shifted out & bumped at start before being outpaced early & racing worse than midfield on rail. Moved slightly closer to midfield after 900m mark, passed a few when running onto 4th over 3L behind.

Steadied & taken back to race third last. Shifted very wide passing 400m mark when just under 6L from the lead before making steady late progress down the outside to halve margin on line. (Roarer)

Raced second, 3L from lead at 800m before improving to be at the leaders hindquarters on straightening. Peaked early in the straight before weakening a few length to midfield.

Slowest away before being steadied & taken back to last. Shifted wider on the track entering the last section when just under 8L behind before making late progress down the outside to midfield from the rear.

Bumped at start before being shifted behind runners & settling just worse than midfield away from rail. Entered last section just under 5L behind & only held position to be beaten the same margin on line.

Raced in midfield on the rail throughout. Straightened just under 3L from lead, stayed on rail in straight before weakening poorly to be over 10L behind.

Bumped at start before being left racing three wide without cover in midfield throughout. Came under pressure at 600m, began yielding ground soon after, weakened further to be long second last.

Had no speed after start & raced second last. Relegated to last near 450m mark, weakened to be long last. (Substantial blood in trachea).
