Stumbled at start, travelled keenly in 5th within 3L of pace, became 6th in similar position rounding home bend, quickened well but veered right sharply inside the 150 metres, hit the front 50 metres out.

2XPONENTIAL  C L Chau  (B/TT)

Began well from a wide gate, improved to join the leader 800 metres out gaining slender advantage 600 metres out, came under strong pressure to hold place around home turn but worn down by fast-finishing winner over 50 metres out.

3HERE COMES TED  L Ferraris  (B/TT)

Taken back from the wide gate, commenced move passing the 500 metres circling the field on home bend, widest runner turning in, ran on to be nearest at finish.

4FORTUNE CARRIER  Z Purton  (B)

Broke well to lead, narrowly headed 700 metres out, kept on under pressure until the final stages.

5GREAT HARVEST  A Badel

Broke well from the widest gate, taken back to midfield but raced 3 wide without cover most of the way in back straight and around home bend, ran on under pressure to be nearest at finish. (Tactic questioned)

Inconvenienced at start, gradually picked up to rear of field on the rail, hampered and lost position over 450 metres out, finished off the race strongly.

Travelled keenly outside the leader, taken one out one back to 3rd passing the 800 metres, came to challenge making home turn, badly hampered inside the 150 metres, kept on to the line.

Jumped fairly settling just off the pace in 4th on the rail, came under pressure shortly after straightening but only one-paced.

Travelled keenly in midfield, checked and lost about 2L passing the 500 metres, in last few turning into home straight, kept on one pace.

Settled in last few, wide rounding home bend, never seen with a chance.

Settled in rear of midfield on the rail, lost position rounding home bend though saved ground entering straight, folded up quickly.
