Ridden forward from second widest gate & raced outside the leader. Moved up to assume lead near the 125m before continuing on to hold 1L advantage on line.
2FORTUNE HAPPINESS  R Maia  (B)

Shifted across to midfield after the start bit was left racing three wide & without cover throughout. Moved to third place soon after cornering before closing off well to move to second in late stages despite wide passage.
3HAPPY PROFIT  C Y Ho  (CP1/TT)

Raced in midfield on rail throughout. Moved into clear running on straightening before closing off strongly in last furlong to be fast finishing third.
4HERO STAR  K C Leung  (TT)

Showed early speed to lead. Headed & passed by winner near the 125m mark before over-run for minor placing in final stages.
5HAPPY TIME  V Borges  (TT)

Raced just worse than midfield between runners throughout. Hampered & lost ground when rival horse fell near 500m, entered last section 5L behind before finishing well down outside to be 2L behind. Good given circumstances.
6GOOD SHOT  H Bentley  (XB)

Obtained nice position on leaders back throughout. Entered last section only 2L behind before doing not much in the straight & weakening a length or so to midfield.
7FLYING SWORD  A Hamelin  (B/TT)

Raced 1,1 throughout early & middle stages. Crowded & lost ground near the 500m mark before entering last section 4L behind. Failed to improve in straight & was never a threat.
8DAILY BEAUTY  J Moreira  (B/TT)

Steadied early before niggled along to hold rearward position. Continued rearward before being badly checked & losing ground behind fallen rival at 500m. Gave further ground in straight but never in contention after incident.
9SINCERE BOY  H T Mo  (B)

Had no speed at start & raced second last on rail. Continued near rear before being checked & losing a length or two near 500m before weakening out poorly in the straight to be long way behind.

10MASTER OF FUN  T Piccone  (H2)

Reared at start & lost ground before rejoining field near the 1000m. Continued last before being badly checked & losing significant ground behind fallen rival near 500m before being eased out of race. Forget run.
0ISLAND SHINE  -  (B)

Had no early speed before getting position just worse than midfield when racing three wide with cover. Clipped heels near the 500m mark & fell heavily. Vet inspection post-race revealed horse to be lame.
