Vied for early lead, obtained rails run in the front passing the 1200 metres, held narrow advantage until headed 500 metres out, renewed effort along the rail in straight to assert authority 150 metres out, eased near finish.

Pressed forward from a wide gate to join the leaders, disputed lead rounding home bend and hit the front into straight, unable to sustain effort and headed over 200 metres out.

Settled in midfield from a moderate start, inconvenienced and carried back to 11th some 5L back rounding home bend, finished off the race well inside final 150 metres, did best work late.

Settled in midfield on the rail, gained closer when pace slackened on top of home bend and came within 2L of the pace into straight, fought on steadily without threatening.

Chased the leader into home straight, came under pressure to challenge upon straightening, unable to quicken to threaten.

Soon taken back for rails run, picked up steadily to 10th just worse than midfield 1000 metres out, snuck up into straight to reach 3L 7th 300 metres out, unable to sustain effort inside final 150 metres.

Taken back from the widest gate and trailed the field to the 600 metres, did not find much room early in straight, produced good late impression closing stages.

Crowded at start settling wide without cover in forward of midfield, made short-lived effort inside the 500 metres to join race leaders briefly when 4-wide into straight, no further impression. (Tactic questioned)

Very wide in midfield early, taken back to last few over 1100 metres out, circled the field rounding home bend to be briefly up with the pace when 5-wide over 500 metres out, weakened steadily in straight.

Crowded at start, soon picked up to 5th within 2L of pace, lost position passing the 900 metres dropping to midfield 700 metres out, re-gained closer 3-wide when pace slackened on home bend, unable to sustain effort after straightening.

Settled 3-wide in rear of midfield, became 4-wide on top of home bend and even wider into straight, never a danger.

Ridden along in first few settling one-out-one-back approaching first turn, switched out for a run entering home straight, soon weakened under pressure. (Tactic questioned)

Travelled 3-wide in last few, given reminders 500 metres out, found nil.

Settled in last few dropping to tail-end over 500 metres out, no further impression.
