Began well & strode forward to race on-speed. Moved up to share the lead at the 400m mark before finishing strongly to win by over a length.
2CORRIENTHES  A Badel  (SR)

Bumped heavily at start before mustering speed & racing third. Continued to race close to the speed, under 1L behind entering last section before closing off well to move to second near the 125m.

3SPARKLING DOLPHIN  H T Mo

Began fast to hold narrow lead in early & middle stages. Joined in the lead at the 400m mark by the winner before weakening to third, just under 3L behind.
4BREEZE OF SPRING  J Moreira  (V-/TT)

Began awkwardly & lost ground at start before racing near the rear in early stages. Improved position to midfield approaching half-way, shifted innards near the 250m before finishing evenly late.
5AUGUST MOON  K C Leung  (B)

Bumped heavily at start & consequently lost ground before rebalancing & racing in midfield. Improved to forth position passing half-way when around 2L from the lead before battling on to hold midfield finish.

Slow to begin & consequently raced rearward early before improving position to midfield passing the 600m. Continued to race near the center of the track entering last section when around 3L behind before giving late ground.
7AHEAD A HEAD  R Maia  (B1)

Began only fairly & was crowded at start before improving position tp race in midfield by the 600m. Continued to be around 3L from the lead at the 400m before weakening to be beaten 7L in midfield.
8TREASURE OF FIELD  Z Purton

Raced in midfield between runners for the majority. Continued just under 3L from the lead passing the 400m before weakening out to be well beaten in midfield.

Raced in midfield along stand side rail throughout. Continued to be close to lead in middle stages, passed the 400m just over 2L from the lead before weakening quickly in last furlong to be well beaten.
10KABI SMART  H Bentley  (H/TT)

Raced in midfield along stand side rail in early stages. Drifted slightly further back passing half-way, passed 400m mark around 4L behind. Shifted inwards at 300m, awkwardly placed near 200m but was too far back to figure.
11XPONENTIAL  C L Chau  (CP/SR)

Was out-paced after the start & consequently raced near the tail. Was hard ridden near the 600m mark to remain in contact before making no headway & being well beaten. Never involved.
12JUMBO ENGINE  M L Yeung  (B2)

Showed some pace to race in midfield in early stages before coming under pressure at half-way. Weakened sharply in last section & was beaten a big margin.
13FARM BUMPER  C Y Ho  (B)

Allowed to drift back from inside barrier & raced a clear last throughout. Gave significant ground in last section & was long second last.
14INTENTION  H W Lai  (H)

Raced worse than midfield soon after the start before coming under heavy pressure approaching half-way. Weakened our poorly & was a very long last.
