Settled some 3L back in 4th 2-wide, came under pressure rounding home bend and given reminders over 400 metres out, ran on under pressure to be nearest at finish.

Began awkwardly, settled just better than midfield some 4L back in 5th, saved ground on the inside turning in, fought on steadily without threatening.

Settled in last few, finished off the race well inside final 150 metres, ran out of room final strides.

Travelled in rear of midfield on the rail and close to heels at times in back straight, saved ground turning for home, fought on steadily under pressure without threatening.

Broke well from the one draw, gradually settled some 2L back in 3rd, became slightly further back but still in 3rd when pace quickened around home bend, kept on same pace without quickening under pressure in the run to the line.

Settled wide towards the rear from a wide gate, commenced move out wide rounding home bend, widest of all turning for home, made up good ground near the stands side of the straight.

Niggled along wide in first few, gradually settled 3-wide without cover in midfield travelling down back straight, commenced move from over 500 metres out and went wider into home straight, fought on steadily without threatening.

Pressed forward from a wide gate to lead turning into back straight, obtained rails run shortly after, headed by eventual winner passing the 300 metres and soon weakened.
