Comments

1GLORIOUS DRAGON  M F Poon  (TT)

Settled within 3L of pace on the rail, became further back when pace quickened round home bend, commenced move shortly after straightening and quickened well to hit the front over 100 metres out, won readily.

2EXULTANT  Z Purton  (XB/TT)

Began well settling back in 4th some 3L back, improved steadily to reach 2nd 1100 metres out settling some 2L off the quickening race leader round home bend, kept on same pace without quickening in the run to the line.

3FURORE  J Moreira  (B/TT)

Inconvenienced at start, soon dropped 4L back in 6th on the rail becoming 7th in similar position 1150M out, slight further back from quickening pace on home bend, produced good late impression inside final 100M.

4SINGAPORE SLING  K Teetan  (CP)

Broke well from a wide draw, soon crossed to settle for one back 2nd position before becoming 3rd some 3L back from quickened pace round home bend, came to challenge upon straightening and fought on steadily without threatening.

5TIME WARP  K C Leung  (TT)

Jumped best to lead, steadied pace in the front early, quickened up pace from approaching home bend going over 2L clear, maintained a similar margin to early straight, unable to sustain effort when overhauled inside final 150M.

6COLUMBUS COUNTY  C Soumillon  (H/TT)

Settled in rear, mainly 3-wide but with cover in back straight, similar coming onto final turn, ran home one-paced.(Jockey reported feeling awkward in horse's action.)

7HARMONY VICTORY  A Badel  (SR-/CP1/TT)

Slightly slow out settling well behind, commenced move entering home straight but failed to quicken to feature.

8HO HO KHAN  M Chadwick  (B2)

Settled towards the rear, gained slightly closer to 6th passing the 1200 metres, came under pressure to keep with the quickened pace around home bend, found no extra inside final 150 metres.

9SAVVY NINE  V Borges  (XB)

Broke well before taken back to midfield in 5th 3-wide without cover, improved to 4th 1000M out but became further back from accelerated pace round the bend, dropped away quickly inside final 300 metres. (See Racing Incidents.)

10CHEFANO  M L Yeung  (B/XB)

Soon taken back well behind, ridden along round home bend and given reminders from the 500 metres, found nothing. (Mildly lame after race.)
