Broke well to lead setting a steady pace to the 800 metres when headed, commenced run to re-gain lead into straight, shifted out under pressure 150 metres out and just held on to the line.

Settled just off the pace early stages, became 6th some 3L back early in back straight, commenced move from midfield turning in and ran on under pressure to just fail to get up on line, carried wide 150 metres out.

Soon came to join the leaders early stages, settled just off the pace in 3rd into back straight becoming 4th some 3L back when pace quickened passing the 800 metres, saved ground on the inside turning for home, kept on same pace.

Settled just better than midfield on the rail, shuffled back to rear of midfield passing the 800 metres, saved ground on the inside turning for home, ran on under pressure without threatening.

Settled wide in midfield after beginning from a wide gate, improved closer to pace turning into back straight, dropped back to midfield when pace quickened passing the 800 metres, fought on steadily from wide into straight.

Moderate start, travelled very keenly on the rail pulling his way forward to midfield around first bend, ran off the rail for rapid progress to lead passing the 800 metres, led the field until overhauled inside the final 300 metres.
