Moderate start, travelled some 2L off the pace in 7th, shifted off stands rail over 500 metres out before shifting back out to stands rails coming onto course proper, fought on under pressure to just get up on line.

Always well there, fought on dourly to hit the front over 100 metres out only to be caught close home.

Settled just off the pace on stands rails, hit the front coming onto course proper, unable to sustain effort and headed over 100 metres out.

Broke well and travelled up with the pace early, lost touch when pace quickened over 500 metres out, recovered good late ground closing stages.

Crowded at start, soon taken across in rear near stands rail and poised for a run, came to challenge inside the 500 metres but unable to sustain effort closing stages.

Made running until approaching course proper when narrowly headed, unable to sustain effort and overhauled inside final 150 metres.

Settled in midfield just over 2L back near the centre of the track, kept on same pace under pressure without quickening.

Close up early before dropping over 2L back to midfield despite niggling along, kept on until faded inside final 200 metres.
