Showed blistering early speed to lead comfortably. Raced well clear on straightening before extending margin further in the straight to win by wide margin. Impressive.
2BE READY  Z Purton  (B)

Raced in midfield between runners. Awkwardly placed near heels at 600m, bumped & unbalanced soon after. Eased into clear running on cornering before finishing off well to move to second at 75m.

3FLYING GENIUS  K Teetan  (TT)

Ridden forward but was left racing wide & without cover in midfield throughout. Improved to be closer to the lead passing the 600m, dashed to second soon after cornering before headed in that position near the 75m.

4G UNIT  C Schofield

Didn't have the early speed of others, raced in midfield on rail. Bumped & lost a length near 600m before cornering with only 2 behind. Stayed close to the inside in straight before passing a few to a well beaten fourth.
5EXPLOSIVE WITNESS  J Moreira

Not the fastest into stride, mustered speed quickly to be midfield. Checked when near heels at 800m & continued keenly in middle stages. Battled onto midfield finish but was well behind big margin winner. (Mucus post-race).
6JOLLY GOOD HEART  C Y Ho  (H1)

Slowest to begin & raced in last position throughout. Shifted wider on straightening will still last before passing a few tiring runners late. Not a bad debut considering proximity to second.

7VERY SWEET ORANGE  H N Wong  (V)

Showed customary early speed to race in second place around a length from the lead throughout the middle stages. Couldn't go with leader on straightening & peaked on effort soon after. Weakened in closing stages.

8ALLIED AGILITY  K H Chan  (H/TT)

Ridden forward before shifting across to race on leaders back. Close to leaders heels & cornered awkwardly near 600m. Only 2L from lead on straightening before weakening out quickly final 250m. (Blood in trachea post-race).
9KING'S EMINENCE  H T Mo  (TT)

Steadied after start & shifted back from outside gate to race second last. Moved wider on the track passing the 600m, continued with only one behind on straightening before weakening out further to finish 9 lengths last.
