Well there, took up running 900 metres out and soon crossed to the rail, hung on well under pressure.

Led early, ceded advantage to eventual winner 900 metres out and held same one-back position on the rail to home straight, baulked before obtaining a clear run inside the 300 metres, fought on steadily without threatening.

Began well, soon taken back to middle of small field just about 2L back in 5th and 3-wide without cover, came to challenge entering home straight and fought on steadily without threatening.

Inconvenienced at start losing ground, soon recovered to over 3L back in 6th on the rail, made modest progress in home straight to be nearest at finish.

Recovered quickly from a moderate start, restrained mostly in 2nd and 3-wide without cover until coming onto home bend, kept on under pressure until swamped for position inside the final 100 metres.

Crowded at start losing ground, soon recovered to 5th just over 2L back while racing keenly, hampered and lost position coming onto home bend, renewed effort briefly and dropped out tamely from 2L 5th early in straight.
