Began smartly from the widest draw, sent forward to take the lead, led by half length, travelled well to turn, kept on very well in straight, just couldn't hold off the winner on line.

Away well, raced prominently on rail, allowed rival to cross near 700M, sat 2 lengths behind the leader on turn, angled out after passing 450M, closed off well to take a place. (Lame right front leg next day morning.)
