Settled towards rear on the rail from the widest gate, mainly in 9th in back straight, commenced move approaching the 400 meters, hung in and a difficult ride early in home straight, gained upper hand close to home.

2WONDERFUL TIGER  N Callan  (B/H/TT)

Began fairly, pulled forward to 6th in midfield without cover, commenced move entering the straight, hit the front 150 metres out only to be headed close to home.

3RISING POWER  W M Lai  (XB)

Taken back to rear of midfield in 8th from the one draw, raced keenly on the far side and shuffled slightly backward, swung wide into the straight, ran on steadily without threatening.

4BO DUKE  C Y Ho  (V/TT)

Ridden along from a middle draw, dropped to last few turning into back straight, remained similar and wide to the home turn, inconvenienced early in home straight, fought on steadily without threatening.

Pressed forward early sharing the pace on the rail, taken one back to 2L 3rd in back straight, fought on despite tight run early in home straight, unable to sustain effort inside the 100 metres.

Settled at the back, swung widest into the straight, made modest headway down the centre of the track.

Hard ridden early vying for the lead, settled 3L back in 4th in back straight, badly crowded early in home straight, weakened 200 metres out.

Moderate start, raced awkwardly at times in midfield in 7th on the rail, soon weakened after straightening.

Jumped fairly, shared early lead, restrained one back 2-wide turning into back straight, in similar position onto home turn, soon weakened under pressure.

Pressed forward from a wide gate to join the leaders going 6-wide onto the stables bend, eventually took up running on the rail turning approaching back straight, led until finding no extra inside the final 150 metres.

11VARA PEARL  S Clipperton  (B-/V1)

Settled the back, commenced run at the 600 metres circling the field on the bend, widest turning for home, soon weakened. (Mucus in trachea)

Well there early, settled just better than midfield in 5th on the rail, badly crowded approaching the 200 metres, never recovered.
