Broke well and pushed forward to eventually sit 2nd, 1 off the fence. Nosed in front at 300m, and ran strongly. Held off big challenge from 2nd late. |

Cruised forward from the inside draw to settle 5th, on the fence. Raced tight when trying to come around heels at 350m. Strong to the line, and was gradually running down winner, but ran out of time late. |

Pressed forward early, before easing back at 800m to worse than midfield. 4th last on the turn. Huge turn of foot in last 200m to take 3rd late and be rapidly chasing down first 2. |
