Pressed forward from a wide gate, settled just better than midfield some 4L off the pace in 6th, similar to home bend but went wide into the straight, quickened well inside the final 200 metres for a commanding victory.
2RISING POWER  W M Lai  (XB)

Slightly slow out, settled just worse than midfield on the rail, snuck up on the inside turning in, sustained headway after straightening to claim 2nd final strides but never a threat to the winner.

3FIVE STARS AGENT  O Doleuze  (H/SR/TT)

Worked his way forward from a wide draw to lead on the rail 1200 metres out setting a smart pace, led until headed under pressure over 100 metres out.
4GOLD TALENT  M Chadwick  (TT)

Jumped best but soon taken back to settle just under 4L off the pace in 5th, shifted wide for a run entering straight but inconvenienced over 250 metres out, fought on steadily closing stages.

5I'M A WITNESS  J Moreira  (CP)

Jumped fairly, in the front briefly before taken one back to 3rd coming onto the stables bend, came to challenge after straightening but unable to sustain effort inside the final 100 metres.

6SPORTS MASTER  N Callan  (H-/CP/E1)

Moderate start from the one gate, taken two back to 4th within 3L of the pace, made modest headway under pressure early in straight but unable to sustain effort close to home.

7GENERAL O'REILLY  D Whyte  (B1)

Soon taken across to settle towards the rear in 9th, remained similar to the straight while saving ground on the home turn, ran home one-paced under pressure.
8WONDERFUL TIGER  C Schofield  (B/H/TT)

Moderate start, settled in rear of midfield, switched wide for a run turning into the straight, fought on steadily under pressure without threatening near the centre of the track.

Settled in last few from a wide gate, saved ground turning for home, ran home one-paced.
10DYNAMIC LIONS  K Teetan  (B-/CP1/H1)

Amongst leaders early, settled just off the pace in 2nd one off the rail, soon faded in straight. (Mucus in trachea)

Jumped very awkwardly losing ground and jockey lost use of iron briefly, never seen with a chance as was always at the back. (Tactic questioned)
12UNIQUE JOYFUL  C Wong  (V/XB/TT)

Began fairly from a wide draw, gradually drifted backward from wide in midfield to joint last into back straight, came under pressure approaching the 400 metres, found nothing. (Tactic questioned)
