Settled just worse than midfield racing 3-wide down the back straight, circled the field round the home bend and the widest runner turning in, quickened well to hit the front passing the 200 metres, held on well to the line.

Settled at the back, switched wide in last few down back straight, commenced move coming onto home bend, quickened well under pressure after straightening near the centre of the track, just failed to get up on line.

Held up in midfield on the rail, carried backward behind runners approaching the home bend, shaken up on straightening, finished off the race well.

Steadied first bend, travelled wide without cover in midfield down back straight, renewed effort after on home turn, quickened under pressure to hold some chance early in straight, unable to sustain effort closing stages.

Raced very wide around the first bend, reached 3rd while 3-wide early in back straight improving to 2nd 800M out and disputing the lead into straight, hit the front briefly over 200M out but unable to sustain effort late.
