Broke well, allowed to slide forward along rail settling 3L from leader. Came off fence passing 600m, 4-wide into straight, made ground steadily to lead passing 150m and kept finding to hold off challengers.

Jumped with field but allowed to find feet, settling behind midfield between horses. Slightly inconvenienced passing 1000, improved position around turn, ran on strongly in straight.

Began OK but eased back and shifted across behind runners, settling at rear. Improved position around turn, swung wide into straight, taken to centre track and finished powerfully, doing best work final 100m.
