Pushed forward early from the wide draw to lead, sitting 3 wide up the back straight. Starting to fade late, and being chased down, but just managed to hold onto the win late.
2FLYING TOURBILLON  S de Sousa  (B/XB)

Settled just forward of midfield early, on the fence. Came in off heels at 250m. Ran strongly in the straight, and was slowly wearing down winner, but just missed late.
3DRAGON GENERAL  C Schofield  (B/TT)

Pushed out early, before electing to ease back slightly and sit 3rd/4th, 1 off the fence. Loomed up in the straight, and was gradually getting over the top of first two, but ran out of time.
4BACK IN BLACK  Z Purton  (TT)

Settled midfield early, 1 off the fence. Pressed forward from the 400m. Stayed on well. Raced tight 100m, shifted out late and not fully pushed to the line.
5APOLLO'S CHOICE  N Rawiller  (B)

Cruised forward early to sit midfield, 3 wide with cover. Ran on well in the straight and was briefly hampered on the line.
6HAPPY SURVEYS  B Prebble

Slow into stride, settling at the back of the field on the rail. Switched in off heels after missing a run at 350m. Ran solidly in the straight, without threatening a place.
7MIDNIGHT RATTLER  J Moreira  (B)

Dropped back from the wide draw to sit towards the rear of the field, 3 wide with cover. Came wider in the straight and rattled home OK late.
8TURF SPRINT  S Clipperton  (H)

Dropped back early to sit towards the rear of the field, 1 off the fence. Plugged away in the straight without threatening.
9HIT THE BID  K K Chiong  (V)

Fairly away, then crowded and settled towards the back of the field, on the fence. Lost a run 300m, and came out off heels to keep progressing. Battled on to the line.
10CHARITY JOY  N Callan  (B/TT)

Pushed forward early to be handily placed in 2nd, 1L behind the leader. Dropped out very quickly in the straight and was eased out late.
11BULLISH SMART  C Y Ho  (B/TT)

Went to press forward early, but was stuck 3 wide with no cover just behind the pace. Fading before the turn, and was eased out late.
12LITTERATEUR  H W Lai

Slow away and settled at the back of the field, 1 off the fence. Never went past a horse. Quietly ridden in the straight and eased out very early.
