First out, led field to 1050m before crossing to fence and easing back to 3rd. Got split between horses 300m, skipped clear 150m, held off late challenge.
2COURAGEOUS BROTHER  K Teetan  (H)

Steadied, shifted across behind horses and last on settling. Checked 700m, switched out 500m to make run, taken to centre field 300m and powered home.
3HAPPY BAO BEI  B Prebble  (TT)

Jumped well, pressed forward but travelled keenly passing 800m when one-out, one-back. Given reminder 250m and finished off strongly. Had superficial wound to inside right hock.

Hard ridden to hold forward position, racing mostly wide 4L from leader. Swung wide entering straight and boxed on gamely under hard riding.

Pressed forward but kept 3-wide behind midfield mostly. Swung wide, hung in 300m, got clear 250m and ran on steadily.
