Prominent behind leaders, well placed to strike at 400M, moved up to lead 250M, kept responding when pressed by rivals both sides, headed late stages.

Never far off from pace, in 4th rounding home turn, closed off well on straightening, went 2nd 200M and strongly pressed leader, held final stages and lost 2nd close home.

Placed ahead of midfield, in touch 3Ls off the pace turning in, responded well early straight and had every chance, well held by leaders final 150M.
