Jumped with field, racing wide till getting cover behind midfield approaching first turn. Blocked for run turning for home, switched out 250m, got split 200m, finished strongly to win close home.

Vigorously ridden to hold forward position, settling fourth 4L from leader entering back stretch. Swung wide entering straight, rolled forward to look a chance 50m, caught on line.

Began awkwardly unbalancing rider, quickly taken to fence behind midfield and switched off. Taken out turning for home, rolled forward to momentarily hit the front before swamped.

Began OK, taken back and crossed to rail in last place 1400m. Improved position slightly back stretch, got inside run in straight, looked a chance final 100m before swamped.
