Pushed straight to the lead from the inside draw to set his own tempo. Comfortably in front late, and went to the line without being challenged.
2MERION  N Callan  (B)

Taken across to settle midfield, on the fence. Ran strongly for the majority of the straight, but couldn't match it with the winner. Started to wobble late, and just held off fast finisher to hold 2nd.
3PIKACHU  K Teetan  (B)

Dropped back to the usual position at the rear of the field, 1 off the fence. Came wider on the turn and progressed steadily until the 200m, before flying home late and just missing 2nd on the line.
4CIRCUIT LAND  H T Mo  (TT)

Eased forward early to settle behind midfield, 1 off with plenty of cover. Came out away from heels when a run closed at 250m, and finished off well. Just peaked late, losing 3rd on the line.
5CALIFORNIA DISEGNO  M Chadwick  (TT)

Taken up early to be handily placed in 4th, 1 off the fence. Ran home steadily, but slightly 1 paced and lost a placing late.

Taken up early to eventually settle midfield, 1 off the fence. Plugged away 1 paced in the straight.
7TRAVEL FIRST  K C Ng  (TT)

Taken forward early to be handily placed 5th, on the rail. Battled on gamely until the 100m, before peaking and fading out late.
8MIGHTY MAVERICK  K K Chiong  (CP-/XB)

Looked to press forward early, sitting 3rd but trapped wide with no cover. Only went to the line fairly in the straight.
9UNIVERSAL UNION  B Prebble  (V/TT)

Slow into stride, looking to press forward to sit mid early before dropping back to settle at the rear of the field at 1000m. Plugged away to the line, picking up a few slower ones in the straight.
10CHEEKY TOO  S Clipperton

Dropped back early from the wide draw and struggled to get in, stuck 3-4 wide at the back of the field with limited cover. Wider on the turn, but only went to the line fairly and was easing late.

Taken up to sit 3 wide in midfield, before being forced 4 wide at the 750m. Came off heels at 400m, faded from that point and eased late.
12SPICY SURE  J Moreira  (TT)

Pushed hard early to ensure he led, before easing off near the 1000m to sit a length off the leader. Had nothing left in the tank from the 350m, and dropped out quickly.
13KING GENKI  D Whyte  (TT)

Eased forward early and initially near the back of the pack before moving forward at 800m to sit midfield, 2-3 wide. Never responded in the straight, and cruised to the line late.
14WHY WHY  M L Yeung  (B/H/TT)

Dropped back early from the wide draw to sit last, and never improved from there. Never in it.
