Began well, ridden to hold rail inside leading pack, led 1250m but relegated to 2nd passing 1000m. Retook lead 400m, strongly challenged final 100m, just held.
2ULTIMATE GLORY  H W Lai  (SR-)

First out but 3-wide first turn and eased back. Shaken up 800m to hold position, picked up bit 300m, challenged leader from 100m but pipped on line.
3HIT THE BID  J Moreira  (V-)

Quickly into stride leading to first turn before steadied 1200m for cover 2L behind leader. Under pressure entering straight and finished off strongly.
4FORMULA WON  Z Purton  (TT)

Away well, taken to fence behind leading pack, settling 4L from leader back stretch. Closed in around turn, looked chance 200m, no extra close home.
5SEMPITERNAL  C K Tong  (V)

Vigorously ridden, taking first turn 6-wide. Kept 3-wide back stretch 2L from leader, 4-wide into straight, kept on to 50m when bumped and rider stopped riding.

Bumped start, pressed forward taking first turn 5-wide. Kept 3-wide back stretch 3L from leader, 4-wide into home stretch, boxed on gamely.

Began fairly, shifted across behind runners, settling at rear. Came off fence 600m, finished strongly between horses but blocked for run 100m.

Steadied after start to obtain cover, settling behind midfield in one-off position. Taken wide around final turn, ran on fairly in straight.

Began fairly, outpaced, dropping towards rear in one-off position. Taken wide 600m to make run but only one-paced. Lost left hind plate.

Ridden to hold forward position but held 3-wide first turn. Rolled forward back stretch to lead 1200m but kept wide by inside runner. Collared 400m and faded gradually.

Slow into stride, taken to rail, settling towards rear. Improved position around final turn but only one-paced in straight.

Bumped start, restrained and shifted in, settling in last pair. Last turning for home, finished off one-paced.

Ridden early to hold forward position but shuffled back first turn, dropping to rear. Took inside run in straight but found nothing under pressure.

Vigorously ridden from outside draw but held 8-wide first turn. Continued to race 4-wide back stretch, widest into straight, faded. Unacceptable performance.
