Began well and pushed forward early to be in a handy position, 1 off the fence. Came wider on the turn, and was well positioned late. Hard ridden home, and just scraped in late.
2ANTICIPATION  C Y Ho  (TT)

Eased out early to sit midfield, 1 off the fence. Ridden for luck early in the straight, before getting clear running at the 300m. Ran on strongly late, and closing on the winner at the wire.
3TOP ACT  R Fourie  (V/TT)

Pushed out early from the wide gate to be handily place behind the leaders, 1 off the fence. Always in a nice position in the straight and led at the 100m, only to be run down late.
4SUPREME PROFIT  K K Chiong  (B/TT)

Eased forward early to find a position midfield, on the rails. Came wider on the turn looking for room, but had little luck early. Ran on well when clear, before off heels and tightened last 100m. Ran well late.
5LITTLE DRAGON  T H So  (B)

Began well and allowed to cruise forward early, just forward of midfield, 1 off the fence. Had no luck in the straight until the last 100m, and ran on gamely from there.
6SELKIRK STAR  N Callan  (TT)

Crowded and stead soon after the jump and found a position 1 off the fence, just forward of midfield. Prominently placed early in the straight, but only plugged to the line late.
7DYNAMISM  C Schofield  (H/SR)

Pushed forward early to be handily placed 4th, on the rails. No clear running until coming off heels at 200m, but only ran to the line fairly after that.
8ENSURING  N Rawiller

Cruised out early to be at the rear of the field, 1 off the fence. Widest in the straight, but only ran to the line fairly and 1 paced late.
9BULLISH BOY  M L Yeung  (H/TT)

Keen early and taken forward to lead, 1 off the fence. Well positioned in the straight, but was a tired horse late and dropped out from the 150m.
10LUCKY OMENS  C K Tong  (TT)

Dropped back from the wide draw to be the early back marker, 12L off the leader. Only ran on fairly in the straight, and never threatened.
11RENAISSANCE ART  Z Purton

OK away, and eased up to be worse than midfield before over racing onto heels at the 1400m. Didn't let down when asked in the straight, and packed up from the 150m when not improving.
12WAYFOONG EXPRESS  K C Leung  (B)

Only away fairly from the inside barrier, and elected to sit at the rear of the field. Was never in the race, and was eased out late.
13ALLCASH  H N Wong  (B/TT)

Began well and taken forward early to share the lead, on the rails. Never responded to pressure at any stage, and dropped back from the 300m to finish last.
