Prominently placed, pressed leader from 1000M, responded well when driven along 400M, led 200M out and always had enough to hold off rivals.

Chased leaders 2-wide, proved difficult to settle when pace slackened middle stages, 3-wide bid outside eventual winner 450M, ran on well but was always held.

Held up in mid-division, switched out from fence 550M, ran on steadily to line, almost got up for 2nd but couldn't reach winner.

Restrained to a position behind midfield, 5Ls off the pace down the back-straight, waited with on the inside, stayed on moderately, one paced final 150M and no threat to leaders from thereon.

Driven after the start but outpaced by early leaders, settled 3-4Ls back, pushed to 2-wide from 1200M, under pressure and looked beaten at top of straight but responded to jockey's perseverance to claim 5th.
