Began well, hugging outside fence in 4th place 3L from leader at 800m. Popped off fence 550m to get clear run, hit front 200m out and pulled clear to win comfortably.
2WINFULL PATROL  A Suborics  (B)

Jumped with field, racing down centre track before edging towards outer fence passing 800m. Shifted in 400m for clear running and finished strongly to snatch 2nd placing on line.
3E-SUPER  K C Leung

Quickly into stride, setting up big lead at 700m and easily crossing from inner to outer fence. Put under pressure 400m, caught 200m out but kept on well to line.
4HO LEE HORSE  M Chadwick  (SR/TT)

Began OK but outpaced, dropping to last pair passing 800m. Still well back passing 400m but picked up momentum final 200m and finished strongly.
5EXCEL ONESELF  C K Tong  (H)

Began well, racing outside leader initially but not clear enough to cross and kept 4-wide from outer fence, 2L from leader. Put under pressure from 400m and boxed on gamely.
6DA VINCI  Z Purton  (B/TT)

Jumped well but crowded and lost position 800m, settling along fence 4L from leader. Edged closer passing 400m to look a chance before turning one-paced.
7ELITE SPIRIT  T H So  (TT)

No early pace, racing behind main bunch on settling but well away from outer fence. Took closer order passing 400m but only one-paced under hard riding.
8SIGHT BELIEVER  N Rawiller  (B/H)

Got off nicely, racing close to outer fence 3L from leader. Raced in restricted room 700m but remained in contention till final 200m when tired slightly.
9VICTORY HEART  M L Yeung  (V/TT)

Outpaced and raced on own towards rear along outer fence. Remained out of touch until final 200m when made some late ground.
10CALIFORNIA BOUNTY  K C Ng  (TT)

Bumped at start, recovered and taken quickly to outer fence just 1L from leader. Closed in to within a half length of lead passing 400m before giving ground gradually. Lame left hind.
11SKY MAN  G Mosse

Pressed forward between horses, settling 3L from leader and one-away from outer fence. Kept tabs on leading pack until 200m before tiring.
12LUCKY GIRL  H W Lai

Began fairly, racing behind main pack but well away from outer fence. Hung badly and difficult to ride from 600m, racing alone down centre track. Stewards said racing manners unacceptable.
13GRACE HEART  C Y Ho  (B)

Bumped start, pressed forward but 4-wide from outer fence, settling 3L behind leader at half-way mark. Began giving ground passing 400m and finished well back.
14WINNING TIME  W M Lai  (B1)

Began fairly, then crowded and lost ground, settling last. Lost contact with the field 400m and never competitive.
