Never far off on rails, tracked leader into straight, hit the front passing 300 metres and soon went 2L clear, held on well under pressure.
2WINNING BOY  N Callan

Jumped awkwardly losing ground, settled better than midfield, steadied approaching the 800 metres, saved ground turning in, came to challenge upon straightening, ran on to be nearest at finish.
3HAPPY KAISER  M L Yeung  (H)

Jumped well and ridden along prominently, lost position around the bend but renewed effort after straightening, kept on steadily under pressure.

Sluggish at start, trailed the field to 600 metres, tight between runners most of way in straight but finished off race impressively.

Settled in last few, made up good ground inside final 200 metres, did best work late.

Taken back from a poor draw travelling 3-wide most of way to straight, ran on steadily down the centre of the track, swamped late.

Broke well from a poor draw, gradually shifted back to midfield before home bend, similar turning for home, fought on steadily without threatening.

Jumped fairly settling just worse than midfield one off the rails, similar turning in, ran on steadily down inner of straight but without threatening.

Never far off in 5th one off the rails, similar entering straight, found nothing.

Jumped fairly from a poor draw, raced wide just worse than midfield, kept on steadily without quickening down the centre of the straight. (Lame next day)

Jumped well, shared early pace on rails before kicking 1L clear around home bend, held same into straight but headed when found no extra inside final 300 metres.

Taken back for rails run, just improved to midfield on rails when checked 800 metres out losing ground, towards the rear entering straight, kept on same pace without making serious impression in the run home.

Vied for lead from the widest draw, eventually settling 3-wide without cover in a prominent position, remained similar into the straight and soon weakened.
14WINNING EXPRESSO  H N Wong  (H)

Began moderately but pressed on to join the leader, settled just off the pace around home bend, folded up quickly after straightening.
