1HARBOUR MASTER  J Moreira  (SR)

Moderately away, raced 2 wide in midfield, 4 lengths back, same position to turn, finished off very strongly in straight and scored narrowly.

2HOLMES LEGEND  B Prebble  (H)

Average to begin, raced 3 wide with cover behind midfield, 4 lengths back, same margin turning, dashed well in straight and took the lead near 250M, just couldn't hold off the winner late.

3BEST SHOW  C Y Ho  (B2/TT)

Jumped with them, raced 2 wide at rear, 5-6 lengths back, difficult to settle near 900M, shared last turning, taken widest in straight and finished off very well, just missed 2nd. (See racing incidents.)

4ADMIRAL LORD  Z Purton  (XB/TT)

Began fairly from a wide draw, unable to slot in, raced 3 wide at rear, 5-6 lengths back, unbalanced near 900m, carried to 4 wide without cover on turn, finished off well to make frame despite hard run.

5LUCKY OMENS  A Suborics  (B/TT)

Slowly away, recovered to race 3 lengths or so back on rail, saved ground to turn, kept to inside after straightening and made reasonable headway.

6WINNIE'S HORSE  T Angland  (TT)

Began well from the widest draw, sent forward to race 1-out 1-back, same position turning, lacked an extra gear in straight, finished off evenly without threatening.

7MEDALLIST  K C Leung  (TT)

Jumped with them, positioned 2 lengths back on rail in 4th, easy run to turn, no daylight early in straight, finished off fairly when clear final 300M.

8BACKBENCH BLUES  T Berry  (SR/TT)

Taken back from a wide gate, raced at tail throughout, 8-9 lengths back, still last turning in, in traffic until near 250M, made some headway thereafter.

9JAMESINA  C Y Lui  (B)

Average to begin, unable to slot in, raced 3 wide, 2-3 lengths back, no cover from 1100M, similar position turning, peaked on run when work load took toll.

10AMBITIOUS CHAMPION  K Teetan  (CP-/B1)

Began awkwardly, raced 3 wide with cover at rear, 5-6 lengths back, similar position turning, no daylight early in straight and checked near 200M, closed off fairly when race was over.

11RED DANCER  M Du Plessis  (P/TT)

Jumped with them, positioned 2 wide in front of midfield, 2-3 lengths back, travelled well to turn, made no progress after straightening. (See racing incidents.)

12NOBLE DE MAN  C Reith  (B)

Taken back from a wide draw, raced 6 lengths back on rail at rear, saved ground turning, failed to close off in straight.

13TODOS CON SUERTE  T H So

Jumped well from an awkward draw and pressed on to take the lead, easy run to turn, headed near 300M, dropped out gradually thereafter, never competitive.

14MALAYAN PEARL  H W Lai

Began well, positioned prominently in 2nd on rail, under pressure turning in, showed no response and finished tailed out. (See racing incidents.)
