Began well, raced alongside leading pack to first turn then eased back to 5th, 3L from leader. Began forward move 500m, took lead 350m and kept on strongly to the line.
2SUPREME ESSENCE  H Bowman  (TT)

Bumped and unbalanced shortly after start, taken to rail behind midfield and switched off. Came off fence turning for home, found inside run and ran on strongly to just miss.
3JAZZY FEELING  O Doleuze  (H/SR)

Ridden along early to hold rail but not pressed, settling initially in box seat and then 2-back along back stretch. Switched out 300m for run and kept on steadily.
4GALAXY PRANCER  D Whyte  (TT)

Began well, ridden along early but caught 3-wide first turn and eased. Got shuffled back along back stretch, began forward move 500m out, turned wide and ran on steadily down centre of the track.
5SMART BALL  M Chadwick  (TT)

Began best, led to first turn before easing up to settle in box seat from 1000m. Taken off fence turning for home, looked chance when threw out challenge 350m, but one-paced from 200m.
6SPINNING DANCER  B Prebble  (B/H)

Began OK, ridden along behind pacemakers in a one-off position and steadied 1300m.Took closer order but wide around home turn, kept on steadily to 200m before one-paced.
7FLYING UNICORN  K Teetan  (V)

Bumped and unbalanced start and then bumped again shortly after. Recovered, pressed forward to sit one-off, one-back back stretch, Pressed forward 400m out, took lead entering straight, boxed on until running on empty from 200m.
8PEPPERMINT  C Y Ho  (TT)

Crowded out start, dropped to clear last before first turn. Caught up with field around final turn, taken out entering straight, ran past beaten horses.
9STEP FASTER  A Delpech  (B/TT)

Jumped OK, snagged back and taken across behind horses to sit at rear in a one-off position. Switched out turning for home but found little in straight under hard riding.
10VITAL PRINCE  K C Ng  (B)

Crowded out start, dropping to rear along fence. Shaken up around final turn but no response.
11DRAGON GLORY  T Berry  (B/TT)

Began OK, pressed forward from wide draw and swooped around field first turn to lead from 1000m. Caught just before entering straight and gave ground abruptly.
