Made its run from last position, 4 off the stands rail had cover. Let down strongly towards the middle of the course, to have the race in its keeping 70m from home.

Not the best to begin, settling, midfield on the near side rail with cover. Ran on nicely.
3JOYFUL LUCK  C K Tong  (V-/B2/TT)

Traveled worse than midfield, along the stands rail with cover. Closed off well.
4FLASHING GUY  G Mosse  (B/TT)

Settled 4th, 3-4 from the stands rail without cover, at stage. Was in front 200m out but was swamped over the final 50m.
5WHISTLE BLOWER  D Whyte  (XB-/B/TT)

Travelled in 2nd position, closer to the grandstand side. Assumed the lead approaching the 400m, was gassed 100m from the line.
6GRASSLAND DRAGON  Z Purton  (H1)

Raced handy to the leaders with cover, 3 from the stands rail. Maintained an even gallop to the wire.
7DRAGON ENERGY  K Teetan  (TT1)

Travelled ahead of midfield, 2 from the near side with cover. Didn't find any extra at the business end of the race, and finished off fairly.

Raced worse than midfield, had cover, and closer to the center of the track. Was one paced in the run to the line.

Took up leading duties on the stands side. Faded over the final 150m.

Camped ahead of midfield, 4 from the near side had some cover. Gave ground quickly after the furlong.

Settled 2nd last, had cover, and racing 3-4 off the grandstand rail. Didn't run on.

Settled worse than midfield, had cover. Drifted out to closer to the middle of the course but failed to close off. (Bled & was found to be lame the following day, RF)

Settled in third position, the stands side, and no cover. Commenced to give ground after the 400m.

Crowded at the start, settling towards the rear, with cover. Was steadied near the 300m, but was well beaten at the time.
