Jumped well, ridden along in slipstream of leader in one-off position. Cut in top of the straight, drew level 150m, shifted out 100m bumped runner-up, edged ahead for solid win.
2MASTER KOCHANWONG  M Chadwick  (CP1/TT)

Began well, pressed forward to lead on settling but kept away from fence, kept good tempo, joined up front 150m, battled to line.
3TURIN PEARL  O Doleuze  (B)

Jumped well, ridden along to hold one-back, one-off position on settling, turned a little wide, kept on well till faltered last few strides. Lame left front leg.
4NEW GLORY  B Prebble  (B)

Pushed forward from wide draw to sit outside leader. Kept on well in straight without closing gap.
5MIGHTY K  C K Tong  (CP-/H/P1/TT)

Jumped fairly, restrained and taken in to rail. saved ground turn, kept plugging away in straight without closing gap.
6CHEETAH BOY  K C Leung  (B/H)

Jumped fairly, ridden to hold forward position but kept laying out. Kept on one-paced in straight while laying out.
7SMART MAN  K Teetan  (CP/H/XB/TT)

Began fairly but ridden along to hold midfield position. Taken very wide in straight and only one-paced. Rider reported never travelled comfortably.
8WEALTHY FORTUNE  H W Lai  (B)

Began fairly, outpaced and soon at rear in one-off position. Stayed inside on turning for home but found little in straight.
9CHOICE TREASURE  K C Ng  (TT)

Lost glue-on shoe before start and replaced with normal plate. Began OK, held behind midfield to turn, improved position early in straight, turning one-paced final 200m.

Began fairly, outpaced, dropping to near rear. Found little under hard riding in straight.

Began fairly, ridden to go forward but held wide in midfield. Taken wider in home straight but tired final 200m.

Jumped OK but no pace and last on settling. Lost contact with other runners before home turn. Unacceptable performance.
