Taken back to the rear, bid wide 700M and advanced to a contending position leaving the bend, quickened impressively once asked, was strongly challenged form both sides from 200M, asserted towards finish.
2ABLE FRIEND  J Moreira  (CP-)

Restrained to race behind midfield, settled nicely along the 2-path, kept to inside passing 450M, quickened to join DESIGNS ON ROME 200M, briefly in front 100M but winner found extra final stages.
3DIBAYANI  Z Purton  (H/SR/TT)

Dropped in from widest draw, settled last, switched widest passing 700M and headway on turn into straight, chased eventual winner final 350M, always held.
4MR GNOCCHI  J McDonald  (B/TT)

Rolled forward, caught 3-wide first 600M, shared lead briefly from 1400M then eased back for cover, moved out to 4-wide top of the bend, left flat-footed by top 3 from 300M, kept on evenly for distant 4th.
5FLAME HERO  C Soumillon

Never far off from leaders, 3-wide and no cover from 1200M, soon moved forward to join leader, outpaced by top 3 inside 300M, kept on same pace for remote 5th.
6WAYFOONG EXPRESS  T Angland  (B)

Held up midfield on inner, in touch turning for home, short of room early straight, stayed on for non-threatening 6th.
7SECRET SHAM  N Callan  (H)

Unable to get closer than 3-wide for most of the trip, travelled in mid-division, ran on one paced, no impression on leaders.
8BEAUTY FLAME  G Mosse  (TT)

Soon moved to the lead, pressed by rivals back straight and went quick middle stages, headed 250M, weakened and no extra final 100M.
9TRAVEL BROTHER  B Prebble  (H)

Caught wide no cover early stages, joined leader passing 1200M, eased back to sit behind the pace nearing home turn, unable to quicken with leaders final 300M.
10LUCKY DOUBLE EIGHT  A Suborics

Settled in midfield along the 2-path, within striking distance turning for home, failed to quicken.
11TABLEAUX  O Doleuze  (H/TT1)

Tracked leaders along the rails, left flat-footed when pace quickened 450M, weakened final 200M.
12ALL YOU WISH  D Whyte  (TT)

Slow to begin, held up towards the rear along the rails, not picked up passing 400M, eased when no chance final 100M.
13DR GOOD HABIT  K Teetan

Eased after the start, proved difficult to settle early stages and no closer than 3-wide throughout, came under pressure 500M, soon out of contention.
14BULLISH BOY  M L Yeung  (TT)

Went forward, tracked leaders early stages, eased back to mid-division back straight, had little left when driven out 400M, eased final 150M.
