Comments

1FLAME HERO  D Whyte

Began well, positioned 1-2 lengths away behind the leader on rail, ideal run to turn, set out after leader at 400M, finished off too well and scored by a head.

2BEAUTY FLAME  O Doleuze  (TT)

Jumped well, took the lead easily, no pressure throughout, 1 length clear entering straight but just unable to hold off the winner late.

3MR GNOCCHI  G Mosse  (B/TT)

Away well, raced 2 wide in midfield, 3-4 lengths back, same margin back to turn, ridden after entering straight, finished off well without posing any threat to the first two.

4TRAVEL BROTHER  B Prebble  (H)

Began moderately from a poor draw, raced 2 wide at rear, 7 lengths back, well back to turn, couldn't obtain clear running early in straight, closed off very strongly when clear to make frame.

5JOLLY VICTOR  C Y Ho  (B/XB1/TT)

Tardy into stride, positioned 3-4 lengths back on rail in midfield, saved ground and travelled well to turn, kept to inside after straightening, finished off fairly, just missed frame.

6KABAYAN  K C Leung  (CP)

Jumped nicely from a wide draw, sent forward to race prominently in 4th, travelled well throughout, 2 lengths back under pressure after turning in, finished off evenly in straight.

7LUCKY FOREVER  C Y Lui  (B)

Jumped with them, positioned 2 wide behind midfield, 5 lengths back, same margin back to turn, no daylight until 250M, made some progress thereafter.

8TRAVEL BRAND  Z Purton  (B/H/TT)

Away with them, raced 6 lengths back on rail at rear for the majority of the race, kept running inside after turning in, made some progress early in straight, not fully tested in the concluding stages. (See racing incidents)

9CRAZY BUDDIES  M L Yeung  (TT)

Slowly away, positioned 4-5 lengths back on rail behind midfield, same position to turn, finished off one-paced in straight.

10PRESIDENT LINCOLN  M Chadwick  (B/TT)

Taken back from the widest draw, raced at tail throughout, 7-8 lengths back, improved on turn and same to middle, only made minor progress in straight.

11VANILLA  A Suborics  (H-/P-/TT-)

Tardy getaway, recovered to race outside leader, struggling turning, showed no response to riding and weakened gradually after turning in, never competitive.
