Stalked the leaders on the stands rail, had cover. Forced its way into clear running after the 300m, and extended nicely for debut win.
2SUPER ABUNDANTE  K C Leung

Wasn't the best to begin then crowded after the start settling ahead of midfield, about 4 from grandstand side, had cover. Finished off well.
3REAL FIT  M Chadwick  (TT)

Vied for leading duties, 1 off no cover. Was in front at the 400m, grudgingly gave way over the final stages, did have tendency to lay in for most of the trip.
4SOLAR SPIRIT  C Y Lui  (H)

Settled on the speed, the stands rail, no cover. Was one paced on the final 150m.
5SPARKLING SWORD  U Rispoli  (H)

Badly crowded at the start, settled at the rear, with cover. Finished off willingly late.
6EVERYONE'S CHOICE  C Y Ho  (TT-)

Travelled with the leaders 3 from grandstand side no cover. Faded over the concluding stages.
7CHANS DELIGHT  Z Purton  (TT1)

Raced in the leading division 4 from the grandstand fence, no cover. Hung in after the 300m, and proved difficult to ride thereafter, giving ground from the 200m.
8ELEPHANT MAGIC  N Callan  (XB/TT)

Tracked the speed, 1 off the stands rail. Was severely checked near the 300m, and was a beaten commodity from then on.

Recovered after being badly crowded at the start to race on the speed about 5 from the stands rail, no cover. Was well truly beaten after the furlong.

Parked midfield, nearer to the middle of the track, had some cover. Laid out after the 500m and was checked soon after. Was never in the hunt.

Began awkwardly settling midfield, about 5-6 off the stands rail, had cover. Was under pressure joining the course proper and gave little thereafter.

Began very awkwardly, settling ahead of midfield, towards the center of the track no cover. Struggled after the 400m.
13HEARTILY TALK  H W Lai  (CP)

Camped off the speed closer to the middle of the track, no cover. Commenced to yield ground passing the 400m.
14TOP DRIVE  C K Tong  (H1)

Settled in last position. Failed to pass another runner throughout, finished tailed out. (To trial)
