Broke well and soon guided to the fence, had a smooth run in the slipstream of leader, quickened well to lead when pulled out inside 400M, kept on strongly towards the line.
2HELENE SPIRIT  A Suborics  (TT)

Urged along after the start, led uncontested at a steady pace, rallied when the winner ranged alongside 300M, unable to draw level with winner but held on well for 2nd.
3REAL SPECIALIST  T Angland

Held up in mid-division, saved ground along the fence, held up early straight, ridden 300M to improve, went 3rd inside 150M but not reaching first two.
4CALIFORNIA MEMORY  M Chadwick

Dropped back to the rear, behind horses early straight and had no clear run until 250M, stayed on well and got up for 4th just in time.
5RAINBOW CHIC  K Teetan  (SR1/TT)

Settled 2-wide in mid-pack, into clear 350M, made good initial progress under light-weight but run peaked 150M from home.
6MILITARY ATTACK  Z Purton  (H/SR)

Not hurried, settled towards the rear, 5Ls off the pace in the first half, held up early straight, angled out to clear 250M and closed off well.
7AKEED MOFEED  D Whyte  (XB)

Ridden more prominent than usual, tracked leader one out one back, lacked acceleration when put under pressure, kept on one-paced to the line. (Jockey questioned.)

Began awkwardly, in touch behind leaders, not quickened under pressure, weakened 100M.

Dropped back to the rear, didn't have the clearest of runs in straight, checked near 200M and again 150M, would have been closer.

Never far off along the 3-path, had no cover from 1100M, outpaced passing 400M, soon out of contention.

Settled 3-wide in mid-division, kept on same pace turning home, lacked further response passing 200M.
12DOMINANT  J Moreira  (H/XB)

Held up 3-wide towards the rear, taken widest passing 450M, not quickened, eased when no chance final 150M.
