Began well and in leading trio before slipping into box seat behind leader. Forced to switch our 350m to find running and kept on strongly to the line.

Ridden forward to hold position one-back, one-off first turn and back stretch. Threw out challenged entering straight and kept on well.

Soon on rail from good draw but behind midfield back stretch. Stayed on rail entering straight and finished off strongly.

Motored to the front and set steady pace. Tried to kick clear 400m but lay in under press and not ridden out final stages when passed.

Allowed to settle in midfield away from fence and not put under pressure until entering straight. Kept on steadily without threatening.

Ridden forward but unable to find cover and settled outside leader back stretch and turn. Looked chance 200m but only one-paced.

Jumped nicely and could have gone forward but allowed to sit on rail 2-back from leader. Hugged rail into straight and kept on one-paced.
