Jumped moderately, soon recovered to rear of midfield on rails, commenced run turning in, responded well to take charge inside final 200 metres.

Contested early lead after beginning from a wide gate, crossed to front coming out of back straight, led until finding no extra inside final 150 metres.

Raced wide without cover in rear of midfield, made up good ground down the centre of straight, nearest at finish.

Travelled mainly 2-wide in 3rd, became 2nd over 600 metres out, kept on before fading inside final 150 metres. (Tactic questioned.)
