Tracked leaders in a slowly run race, responded well turning home and established narrow lead 150M out, rallied on to maintain that advantage to the line.

Had a ground saving trip along the inside, in 5th place always within striking distance, ran on well up the fence to join leaders near 100M, just held.
3REGENCY KING  M Chadwick  (H/TT)

Settled near the rear in the first half, made an early move passing 800M to join leader, kept on well under maximum pressure, just held by first 2 final 100M.
4WINNING LEADER  Z Purton  (H)

Close up in 4th for the first 800M, came to have every chance turning in, kept on but always held by first three.
5FLYING UNICORN  R Fourie  (V)

Urged forward from draw 1, led slowly first 800M, pressed by rival 600M, outpaced nearing 200M, checked 75M, lost ground and faded to 5th.

Held up mid-division along the fence, shifted out 450M, didn't pick up sufficiently and was never a serious danger.
